Drug Tourism and Opium

Opium PoppyTake a moment to reflect on who really benefits from drug tourism.................

Opium has been a part of the culture of the Luang Namtha since the British forced opium on the Chinese 150 years ago. As the British created a demand for opium, so the people of the hills rushed to take advantage of that demand. Don't play the role of the colonial imperialists and promote the production and consumption of opium.

Opium addiction is just as culturally acceptable as alcoholism. Think about it!
